About Harold: You hop in any car you want and just drive off? Maude: Well, not any car - I like to keep a variety. I’m always looking for the new experience. Harold: (Smiling) Maybe. Harold: (Seriously) Nevertheless, I think you’re upsetting people. I don’t know if that’s right. -Harold and Maude, Hal Ashby, 1971 Sharon has a BFA in Illustration from The Rhode Island School of Design, but if you ask any of her friends from college they'll tell you she should have been a photography major instead. After graduating, she interviewed with Richard Avedon to be an unpaid intern. Instead, she ended up with a design job to pay the rent. For most of her working life, she has been an Art Director who took photographs on the side. Now, every once in awhile she will still design something, but mostly you will find her taking pictures. Sharon does not watch much tv and people make fun of her lack of knowledge of pop culture. Instead, she reads books printed on paper, likes to visit graveyards, cooks without using recipes, and listens to music with lyrics like those that were written by The Stanley Brothers. Her favorite movie has always been Harold and Maude.
